4 Printing Ink Colors
4 printing ink colors are transparent, and four-color inks with red, yellow, blue and black tones are added respectively. Each color is printed once, and the simulated digital realistic effect is made through color superposition. The order of printing colors is not used, and the effect is also different. Water is used as diluent and will not cause any harm.
The four ink colors are composed of four different chemical raw materials, which are:
Colorant - it conveys the visual sense so that we can see the color.
Resin - it transfers color to the surface of the printed body.
Additive - it combines some raw materials to correct the performance of printing ink.
Water - it is to reduce the viscosity, make the ink easier to transfer to the printed body, and then dry.
Production Process Flow
1. Grind the color paste, mix the water-soluble resin, pigment, additives and solvent (water), stir, disperse and grind it into a standby color paste through a high-speed disperser.
2. Prepare the ink, mix the standby color paste, additives and solvent (water) evenly, grind and disperse them to make them have sufficient fineness, luster and coloring power. The filter packaging is the water-based ink product.

The ink printed with 4 printing ink colors has good fineness, coloring power, color development, good fluidity and viscosity stability. The fineness of ink is an intuitive index reflecting the coloring power, dispersion effect and storage stability of ink, which involves the particle size of pigment particles and ink with good dispersion and fluidity. Generally, for inks with the same pigment, the smaller the particle size, the larger the surface area of the same volume of pigment, so the covering capacity increases and the coloring power is higher; The smaller the fineness, the higher the gloss, and the better the dispersion effect and storage stability. At the same time, for water ink with small fineness, the printing ink layer can be thinner and the ink consumption per unit area can be greatly reduced.
4 printing ink colors give ink color characteristics to meet the color requirements of printing. Organic or inorganic pigments for 4 printing ink colors shall be subject to surface treatment, and the pigment particle size for water-based ink shall be 7.5-25 μ m. The color paste for HD printing shall be less than 10 μ M (as shown in the table below): secondly, the pigment must be alkali resistant (pH value is 8.0-9.5). In order to improve the stability of pigment in waterborne binder, surfactant should be added to increase the affinity between resin and water and the wettability between pigment and waterborne binder. Organic or inorganic pigments form a uniform and stable concentrated pigment slurry with certain fluidity and strong coloring strength under the wetting and dispersion of a certain proportion of surfactants. It can be seen that the random addition of water to ink will inevitably destroy the performance of ink.
